At, Intursports Travel Services we have had the pleasure of participating in the XII Junior Paddle World Championships. An event that, since last weekend and until this Sunday, has brought together in Castellón athletes from 16 national teams, from Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Mexico, United States, Spain, Chile, Portugal, France, Italy, Belgium, United Kingdom, Japan, Sweden and the Netherlands.
The event, organised by the Padel Federation of the Valencian Community, has been disputed in the categories U12, U14, U16 and U18, both male and female in facilities such as the OK Padel & Fitness in Castellon, the Padel Club 79 in Benicasim and the Impala Sport Club del Grao.
The XII Junior Paddel World Championships is divided into two events:
- Open by national couples (11-19 October, being OkPadel Castellon the main venue. The official categories are Junior (U18), Cadet (U16) and Infant (U14). The unofficial categories are alevin (U12). All of them in both female and male categories.
- World Cup by national teams (14-20 October, being Padel Club 79 the main venue): 16 national teams for men and 13 for women.
Intursports Travel Services has been the official agency of this World Championship. We have managed the accommodation of all the National Teams participating, which have stayed in Hotel Intur Orange in the Mediterranean town of Benicasim. We have also taken care of the accommodation of other agents involved in the competitions, such as the technical team, organizing committee, family and companions and press among others.
