European Athletics Convention, new appointment at Estonia
This week we have attended the European Athletics Convention, which has been held in Tallinn, Estonia, between October 24 and 26. All national athletics federations of the European continent are invited to this event, where attendees can enjoy conferences, workshops and presentations, in a relaxed atmosphere designed to foster networking and the creation of new opportunities for collaboration.
On Saturday 26, after the gala dinner, the European Athletics Golden Tracks awards took place, where best European male and female athlete of the year are crowned. Athletes Karsten Warholm and Mariya Lasitskene have been the winners of this 2019 edition. These awards also recognize and celebrate the sports career of the best coaches on the European continent. Among the attendees were numerous representatives of public organisms and Estonian authorities, who participated in the gala while the public television cameras of this country broadcast live.
Jose Lamas Garrido, Manager of Intursports Travel Services has attended the event together with Andres Vera Llorens, Intursports Travel Services Athletics Representative, as members of the Spanish delegation, which was also composed of Raul Chapado, president of the RFEA, Jose Luis de Carlos, General Director of the RFEA and Carlota Castrejana, General Secretary of the RFEA.
